10:00 Assembly
The headmaster Mr Manohar Singh leads the morning assembly for the children. They sit cross legged on the sand in the school quadrangle. After songs and prayers a senior student stands in front of the class and reads out the news from the daily newspaper, and then the sports news which if the Indian cricket team are playing is of particular interest! Another student will share a thought to meditate on for the day. Perhaps 'Respect a man, he will work more' or 'God helps those who help themselves'.
